This conference is the first of its kind in Malaysia, where several specialists societies have joint hands to conduct it.. These societies are: College of Dental Specialists (CODS), Academy of Medicine Malaysia; Malaysian Association of Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgery (MAOMS); Malaysian Association of Dental Public Health Specialists (MADPHS); Malaysian Association of Paediatric Dentistry (MAPD); Malaysian Association for Oro-Facial Diseases (MAOFD), Malaysian Society of Periodontology (MSP) and Malaysian Association of Prosthodontists (MAP).

The theme: “DENTAL SPECIALTIES: TOWARDS A SUCCESSFUL TOMORROW”, is general enough to encompasses all specialties and how in many situations combine management can be beneficial to the patients.
